Green Design Specialist, Web and New Media 11/08 to present
Creatively leveraged new media vehicles, such as blog and social media sites, to enhance several Washington, DC area companies and campaigns. Designed and implemented web and print collateral for the Washington, DC government including, the Washington Center for Economic Partnership, the Office of the Chief Technology Officer, and the Office of the Deputy Mayor. Utilized new media in ways to enhance low end sites, which led to sites that experienced greater traffic, better client access, and greater use of budget and funding.
Team Lead, 2008/2009 Election Cycle
Successfully led seven print designers as Graphic Designer and Team Lead for 360jmg. Produced effective direct mail campaigns, resulting in numerous Democratic wins across the United States, as well as several awards, including a 2008 Reed and 11 Pollie Awards. Victorious clients include president elect Barack Obama, six Congressmen and Congresswomen, and several state caucus groups. Increased production speed throughout and improved and created workflow processes.

Recent work includes exhibition design with the National Building Museum, art direction and design of print and web materials for the National Endowment of the Arts’ Big Read 2008, and several websites for local bars and restaurants.

Re-branded this Washington, DC–based media company, which specializes in providing entertainment-style business news. Created new logo, business cards, e-newsletters and website. Additional responsibilities include creating ads and campaigns for clients like Morgan Stanley, Reznick Group and Cambridge. Bisnow’s market grew to include New York and Los Angeles in 2008.
